Allen Turing the British mathematician and the genius founding father of computers who helped break the Enigma code during the World War II, was convicted of indecency due to homosexuality. Homosexuality which was considered illegal at the time was severely condemned. Turing was given a choice…

Respect. Turing is partially what inspired me to be a Computer Scientist, and to go into AI.
